I offer psychotherapy to adults in person at Mulberry House in Edinburgh and online.
People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be experiencing:
You don’t need to know exactly what you want from therapy to begin.
Therapy is a collaborative process.
We will regularly review how the work is progressing, ensuring that it continues to feel helpful and aligned with your needs.
There is no expectation to continue beyond what feels right for you.
I work at a pace that takes account of your capacity and circumstances. Therapy doesn’t need to be rushed, and there is no expectation to share more than feels right for you.
Some people come for short-term support around a specific difficulty; others choose longer-term work to explore deeper or longstanding issues. We can talk together about what you are looking for and what feels possible.
I offer:
Both can offer meaningful and effective therapeutic work. If you are unsure which would suit you best, we can discuss this during an initial conversation.
Format
In early sessions, we will begin to understand what has brought you to therapy and what you hope for from the process. From there, the work develops at a pace that feels manageable for you.
Fees, session length, and availability can be discussed during an initial conversation.
Beginning therapy can feel like a significant step. I offer a free 15-minute initial phone or video conversation, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, share a little about what brings you, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
