Clinical Supervision

Reflective, relational supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists & skilled helpers

I offer clinical supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists working with adults, both online and in person where appropriate. My approach to supervision is relational, reflective, and ethically grounded, supporting thoughtful and sustainable clinical practice.

Supervision is a vital space to think, feel, and reflect; not only about client work, but about the practitioner’s experience, responsibilities, and professional development.

My approach to supervision

I understand supervision as a collaborative relationship that supports both client welfare and practitioner wellbeing. I aim to offer a space that is containing, respectful, and open to complexity, where uncertainty and challenge can be explored safely.

My supervision work attends to:

  • The therapeutic relationship and clinical process
  • Emotional impact and use of self
  • Ethical practice, boundaries, and responsibility
  • Risk, safeguarding, and client safety
  • The wider organisational or practice context

I value supervision that is thoughtful rather than performative, and that supports practitioners to remain curious, reflective, and ethically attuned in their work.

Who I work with

I offer supervision to:

  • Qualified counsellors and psychotherapists
  • Trainee counsellors and psychotherapists (where appropriate)
  • Practitioners working in private practice, organisational, or voluntary settings

My experience includes working with a wide range of client presentations, including trauma, anxiety, low mood, relational difficulties, and complex emotional needs.

If you are unsure whether my approach would be a good fit for your training requirements or professional context, I am happy to discuss this with you.

Format and practicalities

I offer:

  • Online supervision via secure video platform
  • In-person supervision where appropriate and subject to availability

Supervision can be arranged on a:

  • Monthly basis
  • Fortnightly basis
  • In line with professional body requirements

Fees, session length, and availability can be discussed during an initial conversation.

Working together

Choosing a supervisor is an important professional decision. It’s essential that supervision feels both supportive and appropriately challenging, and that there is shared understanding around ethics, responsibility, and the purpose of the work.

I offer an initial conversation to discuss your supervision needs, training requirements, and whether working together feels like a good fit.
